Weight Loss Surgery

Weight loss surgery can be the only method to lose weight for the morbidly obese. When you get to the point where you can't physically exercise because of your health or chronic injury, this may be the only option left for you. But be aware, no doctor will operate on someone that may not make it through the surgery so be sure to reduce your weight as much as possible before seeing the doctor.

There are many methods used now ranging from stomach staples, stomach bands, and all sorts of by-pass surgeries. In this section I will be explaining the pro's and con's of each operation!

Until then, consider any form of exercise you can possibly undertake. All you need to do is move more. Walk around the outside of the house a couple of times a day, walk up and down the hallway, it all adds up. If injury is a problem try walking in a swimming pool. It's non weight bearing so your back, knees, and ankles won't be under as much strain and you can still work towards your weight loss goals.
