Tummy Fat

Tummy fat will be a problem for most women at some stage of their life. Too many fall in to the trap of doing sit ups or crunches but this will not bring results. What you need to concentrate on is cardiovascular fitness. If you can consistently exercise for 30 minutes per day you will notice a difference in no time. Of course, you will see much faster results if you modify your eating habits as well!

Reduce Tummy Fat With These Exercises

  • Walk the dog - take a different route each day. It will keep the walk interesting and I'm sure the dog will enjoy it too
  • Go for a bike ride - find a park or go for a ride in the bush. Take a friend with you and stop for coffee somewhere.
  • Swim - count laps, improve time, or increase distance
  • Play Tennis - social tennis is great. You can catch up with friends, have a group chat afterwards and still be exercising 
  • Golf - although it was once described as 'a good walk spoilt', golf is a great form of exercise. And if your really bad at it you'll have to walk even further!

Incorporate your cardio training with some abdominal exercises. This will help firm the tummy. Also look to reducing your fat and sugar. This increases your daily caloric intake dramatically and a slight daily adjustment can make a big difference 3-4 months down the track.
