Squat, Single Leg (Smith Machine)

Notes:

Keep shoulders and hips under bar at all times. This will reduce the load on the lower back!

Step 1

Set bench up behind the smith machine.
Stand in the middle of the bar with it resting on the shoulders.
Place feet hip width apart.
Place the foot of the non-working leg back on the bench.

 

 

 

Step 2

Keeping hips level, lower the body down until upper thigh is parallel with the ground.
Raise up to start position.
