The Pelvic (Hip) Girdle
The Pelvic Girdle consists of two Coxal bones or ‘Os Coxae’ . Collectively they are known as Co-Coxal . Each of these attach to the Sacrum , then they meet at the front. Each coxal bone has three regions: the Ilium, Ishium, and Pubis . Another important part of the coxal bone is the Acetabulum , which is where the Femur connects to form the hip joint.
