Fat Stomach

A fat stomach usually becomes a problem for most men early in adulthood. We love the food, we love the beer, and we exercise less as we get older! But this can lead to far greater health concerns.

Did you know that carrying excess fat on your stomach give you a greater chance of a heart attack? It does! And if you think you've got it bad, it is easier for you to lose fat off the stomach than it is for your wife to lose fat off the hips. The benefit they have is that carrying it on the hips will rarely cause a heart attack. So really, you have no excuse. Follow a regular exercise routine and live longer or don't and die younger! I am being quite blunt here but so many people have their head in the sand. Did you know that 40,000 people died from heart disease last year, and that was just in Australia. There were millions more in the UK and USA. Everyone knows someone who has died from heart disease or currently has it, but few people care enough to modify their lifestyle. It gets put into the the too hard basket and on to the 'to do' list. The problem is that by the time you get around to starting, it will be much harder to start.

Follow these tips and lose that fat stomach!

  • walk at least 20 minutes each day
  • drink alcohol less than 3 days per week
  • reduce the amount of fat in your diet
