    Jonah Lomu

    Hi guys,

I had the privilege of meeting one of the greatest rugby players of all time on Friday night. A few of my guys were fighting at a boxing promotion and I was given some ringside seats. I just happened to be placed right next to Jonah, who was a very humble man. Very impressive.

For those who haven't heard of him, he was the most dominant player in the game through the mid to late 90's, then was suddenly diagnosed with a kidney disorder, which lead to a kidney replacement. He was only in his early 20's when he was forced into retirement. At his best, he could run 100m in under 11 seconds, which is impressive enough and would get him a place on the New Zealand Olympic team. But when you consider that he weighed 120kg, you can appreciate exactly how tough this guy was to stop.

You can see some footage of him here: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=YY8iIfWpHyo&NR=1

    Ray
