    Hamstring

I have pulled my Hamstring... Don't think its torn...

What is the aftercare for a HamString, after it happened I Iced it for 20mins on and 20mins off..... But I am now at day 2, what treatment do I do now and how long should I give it before I run again....

Thanks in advance for any help/advice

    Re: Hamstring

May not be a bad idea to get it checked out by a Physio first, but don't run on it whilst you still get twinges walking. I know it sounds obvious but many people do.

When you do start back running, go slow, and complete a long and gradual warm up. Really avoid explosive movements.

My brother's a runner in his college team...Whenever, he has hamstring problems, mainly pulling of hamstring, he gives some needed rest to himself for some hours after exposing it to some magic spray...
