Hi there
I have graves disease was told last year that i have it after having nuclear medicine!
I am honestly struggling with it the doctor has me on thyroxine daily! for hypothyroidism
I never realised something could overtake your whole body and make you feel like a different person
From body temperature not regulating, heart beating faster, mood swings, deep depression
swollen limbs, dry skin, hair losing shine to name a few
I would love anyone that has it and knows how to cope with it as well as its all still in the new stages for me
I have got some books but i think personal advice can be so much better
I talked to a woman in south australia and she has told me that it has taken ten years for her body to feel
anywhere near back to normal!
Its scary really knowing what an enormous role that the thyroid does play!
I will check back and see if there are any others that also have graves disease
Any advice that is natural is always good to look at especially when you are already on a lot of medication!
