Re: Can someone help me PLEASE!!!!!!!

    Hi Kimo,

Definitely do not give up. I also used to walk for hours and would put wieght on rather than lose it. My problem was my metabolism, and programs such as weight watchers and jenny craig were not good for me as they focused on binge eating etc and I wasnt eating enough to sustain a small child let alone a mother of two. I also have hormones that can be a pain, but my metabolism and weight was affecting them rather than the other way around. Definitely keep up the walking, you need that. I stopped for a while and I cant begin to tell you just how unfit I am now, even though I have now lost, 23 or so kilos to get down to 80, compared to when I was 103.5kg and could outwalk my very slim and fit boyfriend.

You may need to play around with your diet a bit. I got my metabolism started by following a meal plan designed for me by dietician/nutritionist/doctor and based on blood test results amongst other things. Now I have to get back into the exercise to get fit again and get my muscles back as well as boost the weight/fat loss.

Also send Ray your details and he can tell you what sort of exercise program you should be doing as well as the walking.

Let us know how you are going with it all and when the weight starts dropping off we will all be cheering you on, and if it plateaus (which happens, body gets used to what its being fed and the amount or type of exercise and it gets a little lazy with the weight dropping) then we will all be here to help you tweak it, so that you start losing weight and gaining fitness and health instead.

    Cheers and Welcome too,

    Dollfinn!
