how is excess weight distrobuted over the body?

Hey all, I'm just curious how fat content is distrobuted specifically in relation to facial features.  The reason I ask is that I weigh a bit more than I used to and I notice my facial features and general shape of my face is now set lower, my cheeks seem further out then before and I have a more pronounced chin (not a double chin but it looks like the foundations of one)

Is a rotund/lower set face a result of weight gain or can it be attributed to ageing (im nearing 30 soon).  Or perhaps it is a combination of both?  Amazing what now and then photos can do to you psychologically lol

    thanks for any answers

Everyone carries body weight differently, but there are two things that will always hold true:

    1. Aging will cause your body parts to move toward the floor

    2. An increase in body weight will cause an increase in cheeks and chin.

How much though will depend on age, and how much body weight is increased.

On the other hand, how is fat lost as you loose weight, is it generally where it went or last or random?

it's different for every single person, but generally most girls say they lose if from their chest area first - at least, it seems the most obviously noticable from there. i don't think there's any hard and fast rules about it, but if you've lost 10 or 100 kgs, and you started out overweight or obese, then losing some of that excess has to be a good thing for your overall health.
