    Breakfast spreads?

Just wondering what type of breakfast spreads i should get?  I'm thinking something like jams or something.  I really like vegimite/promite/peanut butter, but i'm not sure if that stuff is ok to eat, not sure of the nutrition values of it all...

    Any help?

p.s. i am putting it on wholegrain bread (just in case you were wondering Stick out tongue

    Re: Breakfast spreads?

Are you familiar with the nutritional information panel on all commercially available pre-made foods?

For weight loss the important issues are the calories per 100g (or 100ml for liquids) and the size serve you are likely to eat.

Some people fund the suggested serving size a lot less than they would eat in one serve.

Some producers of high energy foods suggest you should have a very small serve to manipulate the Kj per serve to be smaller.

i had a look on the vegimite jar (my favourate spread) there's less than 1g of fats and carbs... and there's under 50kj of energy per serve!  I'll just use that Big Smile tastes great and not so bad Smile
