    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

Well I have to come in and be honest about this week weigh in and what's been going on, so I'm cutting and pasting from my Friday entry in my weight loss diary...

In the words of the lovely Ajay herself, it's time to cut the fat!

I've been kidding myself and everyone else for too long. As dumb as it sounds, me watching Munnalita have her tanty on TBL last night was a bit of a turning point. I'll be the first one to admit that I've bagged her out for being a lazy *** and gave her hell for trying to justify eating those Mars bars (by the way, who the hell can eat 6 mars bars in one sitting???) - but what a fool I was that I can see that in someone else, but not in myself.
This week I've gained 400gms. That's the last two weeks of work down the drain. I could give every reason and excuse under the sun (because trust me, I have run them through my head) but excuses is just what they are.
Have I stayed under 1600 calories daily? No
    Have I exercised daily? No
Have I even exercised every second day? No
I know I can do this. I'm not destined to be fat my whole life. I want a better life for myself and my family. I don't want to pass on bad eating habits to my children.
I can do this and I will.
So that was Friday. I weighed in at 106.8 which was a gain of 400gms. Since then I have used Calorie King religiously, stuck to almost the exact number of calories I'm meant to eat (somedays a little under but never over), exercised daily and drank a ton of water. I jumped on the scales this morning and weighed 105.4kgs. So in a space of 4 days I've lost 1.4kgs. It's got me so excited about my new life again. There is nothing like a good result for a whole heap of motivation.

    Kylee :)

    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

Another weigh in for me, down another 0.6kg (not entirely happy with that, but I shall blame hormones). Waist is down to 106cm.

So, weight has gone from 97.3 to 92.2, a loss of 5.1kg

Waist has gone from 109cm to 106cm.

Hips have gone from 129 to 124cm.

    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

Finally my results for this week. Changed my weigh in day to Wednesday a couple of weeks ago as Mondays were just too depressing!!

    Finally a loss! Weighed in at 100.2kg - that's a loss of 1.2kg. Yay!!

Also remembered to take other measurements (but forgot to bring piece of paper to work so will work off memory) -

    Resting heart rate 65

Waist - 112cm. During the week I noticed my work pants that I've had for ages (and were a firm fit in January) were really loose and yesterday morning they were so loose that a belt was actually in order. When I started all this back in August last year I couldn't even fit my belt around my waist and when I started to lose weight I punched an extra hole in just near the end of the belt as the first hole was still too small. Today I put the belt on and easily did it up on the first hole. Jumping2 So by my calculations of the difference between my pants waistband and the belt is about 6cms so I'd say that's my waist loss since end of Jan!!!

    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

Sorry guys, I haven't done my stats or any weigh ins after I said I was going to join the comp,as have had issues with my joints playing up and have just been plodding along trying to get through each day the last 2 weeks. Always seems to be something or other lately and I have been losing slowly on diet alone and exercises that don't involve any lower body joints-which is a bit tricky,LOL

Perhaps I'll join the next challenge, whenever that may be.

Good luck to you all. Some good stats there!! Clap

    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

A loss of 2.1kg for me this week (although I think some of that is dehydration as I didn't drink enough last night). Very happy with that, and feel it was deserved as I've worked bl**dy hard at the gym this past week! Waist measurement was down 1cm to 11cm. Weirdly both my calf and thigh measurements were up by 5-10cm - must have measured at a different place!! Hope its not real as one thing I'd really like is to reduce my calf measurement so I can buy long boots for winter (I'm a shoeaholic and my desire for a pair of leather knee high boots is almost out of control - my half leather, half elastic ones just don't cut it for me as they just aren't as pretty!!!).

    Re: TBLA2 Competition Thread!

Down to 91.4 this week, another small loss, but a loss nonetheless! I totally forgot to measure and now cannot find the tape, so shall do it next weigh in!
