    Weight loss with weight training

    I was wondering what sort of results one could expect if they usd predominantly weight training to lose weight?

    You can change your body shape but it's a hell of a lot slower!

    Cardio is the way to go!

    Thank you, I find cardio difficult with a large chest... I think its the less impact of weights that attracts me...Whilst its slower, with cardio I would dread working out and make excuses, but with the gym, so far I have been everyday and am increasing the length and strength slowly but surely. So I guess even if its slower, if I am more likely to stick with it, better?  And hopefully once it starts to change my shape I will find cardio easier or less uncomfortable and knock the rest off that way.     This is interesting! Because before when I was a member at fernwood (about 8 yrs ago) they tried to get me to do weights but I told them I didn't want to do weights that I'd rather do cardio first then do weights down the track! They insisted that to lose weight you had to do weights!

    Maybe they wanted me to be a member for alot longer than what I had signed on for......lol
