I think the CSIRO book is a good educational book and very interesting and i use many of the recipies as long as they fall into my calorie allowance . i dont think this diet is suitable for a family of 6 with a mortgage and moderate income though, its just not finacially do-able so i take what i can out of it and apply it to my own "melonhead diet 4 life"
diet going really well again today
went to podiatrist, he said i have hope of full recovery because all of the calf exercises made such a dramatic difference already. then he tried to push a 490 dollar custom made insert on me and reckons these will ensure full recovery more than anything so i felt a bit depressed as i cannot afford this. so what i am doing is marking the date in 6 months time to review my foot pain etc. if by then i still cant walk even after all the stretches 3 times daily and the weight loss, then i will buy the inserts and maybe use the good old credit card(i hate credit, its evil)
podiatrist recommended bike riding so that my foot wasnt constantly being re-injured whilst exercising. hmm i feel too fat to ride a bike and exercise bikes are so boring, i like to be outdoors.my eyes glaze over at indoor exercise.mayeb if i ride after dark no one will see me. going to ponder that one a little
total calories 1473 (i think i over calculated as it was hard for me to clculate the calories in one of my meals so i have gone the high end to be safe)
exercise 2 hours rigourous housework ( i set the timer and go go go then once the buzzer stops, what evers not done - too bad)
3 hours of gardening - digging, wheel barrowing , potting , carrying pots, weeding. gardening is the best work out ever and is probably the only reason why my muscles still work at all.
