    Re: Helping myself

    Thanks LaLa

dont you worry about me giving husband a talking to, i did and a very stern one but what was better was that he was saying it to be mean anyhow and he was very sorry that he resorted to that even without the talking to. it wasnt long ago that he was 35 kilos overweight so he knows he disgraced himself.

as for planning menus, i am a freak with menus, theyre all planned.....until friday. so...i need to plan weekend meals too because this is where the binging begins. thatsnk for taking the time to stop by and see what i had written, some times just seeing someone type resolutions back is enough to solidify what you already beleiv when you are feeling a bit weak.

maybe a zipper for my mouth from friday to monday ??? lol

my new goal- a binge free week end.......

    Re: Helping myself

    ok its friday

    this is D day

friday is the day of danger, where the gate opens and then food is inhaled for 48 hours followed by a week of guilt. not this friday tho. i know i do this so im onto it and i am going to fight the urge.

    what will i do?

    keep busy

think about it before i eat it

look at what i am eating and ask myself do i need it, if i HAVE to have it then do i need this MUCH?

walk walk walk walk walk walk walk till monday omg this is just like giving up the ciggies.

i have managed to curb weeknight binging so i know i can do this

    I WILL DO THIS

    Re: Helping myself

weekend over, not too much damage done. eating was more controlled. i thought about everything i was eating and the quantities. i walked for 2 hours sunday and did 3 hours serious gardening. so mondays weigh in showed the scales going down instead of up. YAY imagine if i can get through this weekend coming and the next and the next....baby steps.

feelin really good about it and EXHAUSTED lol gardening is one hell of a fantastic workout

    2.30 pm

for the first time in years i walked my son to kinder. 20 minutes up hill, and 30 minutes back down the hill lol, um you would think that coming back would be quicker. feet are killing me. knees are totally pain free and strong and didnt even show any signs of past injury. just the feet(plantar faciaritis) hopefully with some weight loss i will be able to go further. i did all my stretches and stuff too.

    Re: Helping myself

You poor thing on the platar fascitis! I had cortisone injections years ago for that in my heel. They HURT, but from then on I have had no pain!!!! (I seem to be forever posting "me too"'s about peoples injuries. Sad huh?)

Good work on that walking, I bet you felt GREAT after it!

    Re: Helping myself

32 mins on the treadmill today. quite a bit of housework and my feet arnt hurting as bad as they were yesterday. one in particular. worked up a good sweat on the treadmill

cant sleep when i exercise tho, i do it in the morning so its hours away from bed time but the more i do during the day the less i can sleep.

oh well. not gonna complain about that. after recovering from CFS many years ago the last thing i will get mad at is having insomnia hehe

    cant wait to be thinner

    Re: Helping myself

    Hi Mel,

You planning anything for this weekend? It's time to start thinking ahead so it doesn't sneak up on you!  I find the weekends a breeze but struggle more during the week because I allow work deadlines to interfere with my routine.

This lovely "spring" weather makes it really enjoyable to be outside. Is there anything happening in your area outdoors this weekend?

    Have a good one!

    Re: Helping myself

good idea. plan for the weekend because tomorrow is going to creep up on me and before ya know it i will be biuying truck loads of carbs for friday nite junk food.

i bought low fat beef sausages today. 136 cals each so i can have 2 yay. so for friday nite i am planning yummy suasages egg and tomato mmmmmmm no carbs YAY

been off carbs 90 percent of the week and i have lost 2 kilos.

im having a roast tonite. lots of vegies. a fraction of a spud hehe but im feeling run down so im going for a huge plate of roast vegies. dont stress when u hear roast tho, i only use 1 tablespoon of cold pressed olive oil to do enouhg vegies to fill up 6 people and i smother them in herbs and spices mmmmmmmmmm.im right into this low carb stuff now. havent had bread in weeks and i have replace 50 percent of my sugar in my coffee with splenda. i cant get totally used to it yet as it leaves an aftertaste but i am trying.

sunday is easy, corned beef with salad . saturday is the problem. i need to consult my low carb/satday healthy but junk tasting food recipes lol

i bet low carb dave has some recipes somewhere, time to scour the site

    Re: Helping myself

    Good grief

I just cant seem to do it.

    its a simple formula

less food goes in, more fat drops off. my mind is ruining this because it gets angry when i have to change things. i am quite active so clearly i am inhaling too much food and thats why the weight goes up and not down so why cant i just stop? a bit angry at myself. i thought i would put this here and because its in print i will have to look at it everytime i return to site. something needs to sink in. preferabley not fat......
