Hi Folks.
Ray and I are very happy to announce the availability of FOH Gold. Although the content in there is limited at the moment, a lot of work as gone into building these functions within the FOH Forum environment. Now that it is in place, you will see a rapid increase in the functionality available. As of today, there is the ability to record your individual Fitness Assessment and graph the results over time, and the Exercise Library which I'm sure most of you are familiar with.
The assessment section is the log section of the new "FOH TBL 3" competition. So for members who want to enter, you must now complete an assessment before Thursday 12th Oct. When you do you'll see a button appear asking you if you want to enter the competition, Click it and you're in! simple as that. Over the next few days, I'll be putting in the leaderboard etc. etc.You'll soon get the drift.
In the next few days, I'll add a suggestion box, so that you can put forward your ideas for inclusion in the system.
On a technical side, FOH Gold has been built using a techology called AJAX. It is supported by all of the main browsers but if you have an old browser version, you might need to upgrade before you can use FOH Gold. The main noticable thing about AJAX is that it doesn't require the whole page to refresh and is therefore much quicker and enables us to provide much better applications. The downside is that the BACK button on the browser no longer works in the same way, if you press it it'll take you back to the page you were on before you entered FOH Gold ...it's a bit of a pain to until you get used to it, but it doesn't take long and you'll soon appreciate the speed difference.
