    July Cardio Challenge Tally

    The target for July is 1860 mins in 31 days - that is 60 mins every day! It's meant to be challenge, remember!!!

    Please don't feel you're a failure if you don't make it to the above mentioned target at the end of the month. Even if you do half of that amount for the month you are doing a fabulous thing for yourself and your health. I guess by doing more cardio you will speed up your rate of weight loss. Aiming for 30 mins a day on most days of the week is in itself a fantastic achievement. So, I don't want anyone downing themselves if they "can't keep pace", OK? Promise me...

    To participate:

    1. reply to this message and put your FOH username in the subject line
    2. log your daily cardio exercise, in minutes, plus a cummulative total
    3. edit your original reply post every couple of days or whenever you can

    * Currently 67 mins behind target pace (60 mins/day). That means I need to do 127 mins on Mon to reach my Challenge goal (1860 mins). Aiming to do 82 min walk at about 10:30am + a 45 min cycle class at the gym at 5:40 pm.

    06/07/06 - 35 min walk    07/07/06 - 40 min     08/07/06 - 20min run on treadmill & 20 min c/trainer

    09/07/06 - 40 min gym 10/07/06 - 60 min gym + went for another session same night. 30 min treadmill + 20min bike 11/07/06 - 1 hour c/trainer/x bike/ t/mill 12/07/06 - 1hour cardio at gym - 13/07/06 - 45min cardio at gym  14/07/06 20min each on bike/c/trainer/treadmill 15/07/06 60min cardio 16/07/06 rest 17/07/06  1 hour cardio 18/07/06 1hr cardio  19/07/06 40min treadmill/20min c/trainer/10min row machine and 15min bike. 20/07/06 50 min cardio 21/07/06 30min cardio 22/07/06 60 min cardio 23/07/06 Rest 24/07/06 Rest (sick!) 25/07/06 15mins (still sick!) 26/07/06 20mins cardio (still sick) 27/07/06 50min cardio, still a bit off but getting better.

    mon july 3: 120 mins cardio (45 min walk with daughter, 15 mins cardio during gym circuit, 60 min walk with dog)

    tues july 4: 60 mins cardio (walk dog) & also did 1 hr yoga. don't think that's cardio tho LOL

    I actually thought I had already started a thread in here, but I guess not. Anyway, cardio challenge so far:

    3/7: bike 10min

    4/7: walk 45min x 2 = 100min

    5/7: walk 45min + walk 30min = 175min

    6/7: none

    7/7: walk 45min x 2 = 265min

    8/7: bike 30min x 2 = 325min

    9/7: none

    10/7: tae-bo class 60min = 385min

    11/7: none

    12/7: walk 45min x 2 = 475min

    13/7: walk 45min x 2 = 565 min

    14/7: none

    15/7: none

    16/7: walk 35min x 2 = 635

    17/7: walk 30min + aerobics class 30min = 695 min
