    hELP! Knee Problems!

About a month ago, I joined a 5k run, the next day I was in agony; limping badly. I went to see my doctor who told me that I'd sprained one of the ligaments below my knees. He prescribed some pain pills which i take religiously for 2 weeks. The knee got a little better but still hurts badly when im standing up for long periods of time. Im a sales agent and my job requires a lot of standing. The pain is killing me. I was wondering if people in here can suggest better remedies?

About 6 weeks for a strained knee.

Soft shoes can help if you are standing.

If you can’t wear them at work at least wear them at other times.

A hot bath may give some relief and help with getting a good night’s sleep.

Depending on where you are keep warm while you sleep cold feet/legs won’t have good circulation and may slow the healing process.

    Massage may also give relief.
