Well time has flown by since i got serious about anything...
I am plagued with ailments that do impede my weight loss and are
very responsible for my weight gain..this is not an excuse just facts!
Firstly how do you remove the ticker that i have on my page, its so out of date
now its not even accurate!
Secondly i still have diabeties type two, hypothyroidism, polycistic ovary syndrome,
have had deep vein thrombosis, also have had a back operation (laminectomy and discectomy)
Have had a hernia operation as well and my gall bladder removed, other minor things that
arent relevant to what im proposing!
After all this time out of the blue my family have decided to purchase me a treadmill
a heavy duty one with all the bells and whistles and what i would like to know
is what do i do..i have never been on one in my life and am not sure what should i start with
is there any information out there about them, what i dont want to do is get on it and just
have no idea what im doing!
I know of course i will be walking but what speeds etc and for what length of time
should i start with etc...I am very serious about this and need to lose weight and a lot of
it as i my thyroid (graves disease) is piling the weight on and my doctor is wanting me to eat
at least six small meals a day as my biggest problem is the lack of love affair i have with food
and i need to get my metabolism going, the thyroid condition makes it harder to lose weight
and i guess i will have to work harder!
If there is anyone out there that has a thyroid condition that has encorporated a weight loss program
and exercise program i would love to hear about it!
Also im probably up in the range of about 150kg range and are 5 foot seven and due to my back
issues i have very swollen feet and ankles...
I want to try and start something positive for myself as i have let the last 2+ years just waltz by
and with my daily sweating again due to my thyroid (body isnt regulating temperature)
Im tired of feeling like this!
Any help thoughts ideas greatly appreciated and if you can help me with the treadmill
that would be great it has cost my family a lot of money and im going to use it!
I feel more confident and i have my doctor and pyschologist helping me in the wings!
Im not making excuses (it probably sounds like it) but i really want to get it right this time!
