Did 20mins tready when Andy was home yesterday arvo. I did 20 mins of 5.5kph with 3 x 2min on incline 2. Avg HR was 109, max 131, cals 103. I feel like I worked harder than the numbers show. I've just done 5mins on the bike but was interrupted by toddler needing a video rewound and the carry on he made woke up the baby so will have to try and do more later on today....

Happy to oblige Jane. LOL. Weigh in tonight, shouldn't be a gain. I've had my patience and character tested by Cameron over the weekend but went to EI this morning and had a good time with him. I haen't eaten anything I regret - when I think 'oh, get Macca's for quick, brainless lunch' - I think instead that it's not worth the weight and that I can get something quick at home. So this is a step forward for me.

Yes, Libby, what is it about children getting their gear off and bolting around? You wouldn't catch me doing it! Hey spunky Jane, I lost 0.9 so that's 2.6kgs so far. Stayed for the meeting and got a boost from that to just keep doing what I'm doing. If weather's ok, I'll walk to school pick-up later.

Weather went foul by pick-up time and Cameron has been complaining of a sore tummy and bad fever again, so didn't walk to school. We'll have to miss kinder again too which is a pity. Looks like a trip to the doctor today to see what's going on with these mystery fevers that don't turn into a cold.... Will eat healthy today no matter what, but the exercise will depend on the stars and moon aligning favourably and jumping at the first opportunity.

Ever tried to get a urine sample from a toddler that's not toilet-trained yet? He had the 'stand and hover' approach to the potty - but we succeeded! Results should be back Monday. Yesterday managed to do 20 mins on the bike at approx 20kph on a varying program. Plus sit-ups and stretching. Today did 30mins on treadmill (approx 5.5kph and intervals with incline) because DH got home early - avg HR 118, max HR 134, cals 187. Plus sit-ups and stretching.

Oh, Ray, since we've done this, he doesn't want the nappy on so definitely ready to attempt toilet-training. Argh, bad day food-wise. I guess it starts with broken sleep the night before. Then I took the two young ones to Ace Space and Cam had a great morning, baby was placid. I intended to have just a cappaccino but I also got nachos. I felt really conspicuous eating them too, like I was probably revolting the other people around me slopping into them. Then about 4.30 I felt energy-drained, so we had Mc-Chucks. A Big Mac large meal deal and Qtr Pndr. Stodgy tummy. And it's probably why I'm too awake now. Blaaaah. So putting away the big stick, no need to beat myself up. Tomorrow I get up and start fresh with clean foods, SpecK with a banana, baked beans on grainy bread for lunch, and chicken something for dinner. Snacks are natural yoghurt and fruit.

I am glad that you have put away that stick! Looking at your food for today, and it is nice, tasty stuff, and gpood for you. So why do we make it seem like something that is deprivation related? Hoenstly, I love a plate of grainy toast, sliced tomatoes on top, then baked beans on top of that! Yet if someone suggested Fishg and Chips I would THINK I prefer that, yet it comes with life destroying ingredients, lethargy and is NOT as tasty! Totally stoooooopid. I get you on the conspicuous thing too. Often feel that way. Amazing how we KNOW we made a daft choice......................... Hope this weekend is great for you, Lorna!

Thanks, Jane. We've all been there. The difference this time is I care enough to try to change rather than just pretend it didn't happen. So today has been ok, I had baked beans before I went to supermarket so I wouldn't be tempted. I bought a roast chook for tonight, it smelled extremely good and I peeled the skin off and ate a drumstick and wing. I've bought salt chips and dark choc for Andy but I'm not overly interested in eating them. It's our 19th anniversary today too. No, we're not doing anything, but I think next year we'll arrange the kids to have a sleepover at Nana's and go do something special. I've been having maddening problems with my mp3 not playing songs I'd ripped, but I've finally figured out what I was doing wrong and got a new playlist synced. I did 30 mins on the tready - avg hr 123, max HR 149, cals 211. I didn't put the incline any higher or go faster than I have been but my stats are higher because I was more pumped with the music - it makes a difference. You know the talking test that determines how hard you're working? I find it a bit grey. Like I consider moderate - able to get words out. Such as, I'm-just-doing-five-more-minutes(gasp)and-then-I'll-feed-the-baby(gasp). I don't think I could have much of a conversation. Working hard you're not meant to be able to talk - so I guess that's when your mouth has gone so dry from puffing that your tongue is stuck to the roof of your mouth hence you can't speak. Hmmm...enlighten me.

I have a delicious baby, just thought I'd share that! Monday's weigh-in was 'same' so that was fine considering the splurge. I'm travelling well this week but structured exercise is difficult with the littlies. I've walked to school and back once (hoping to do it tonight too) and I had a good walk about Ringwood, not just Eastland, today. Tried to ride the bike yesterday but 4 minutes into it the baby woke. My toddler's schedule keeps me busy too, without going into big details, and his activities and development tends to take priority. Back to weight-loss - I'm aiming at a one kilo loss this week, so making good, acceptable choices dietary-wise.
