    Getting Metabolism back

I am currently reading a book that suggests to get your metabolism back on track and normal you should spread your food intake over 6 meals a day (for males) and 5 meals (for females).

Do others agree with this, is this the best way to go about it. I gather it takes alot of planing.

The biggest issue with this though is though is how much Carbs, protein, fats should you consume per meal...

I'm not sure about 6 meals but just get your meals regular and of ideal portion size. More importantly though is getting in some regular exercise, add a little muscle mass and increase you cardio fitness.

He's just sharing the strategies that bodybuilders have used for decades to get lean muscles and low bodyfat.

They are good tips. Copy and past them to refer to later.

Mainstream society is only just catching up with bodybuilder tactics. Eat small, regular, balanced meals; do your cardio first thing in the morning; go to the gym and lift some weights; make dinner the smallest meal of the day; cut out some carbohydrates as the diet progresses to continue fat loss; and take advantage of modern supplements to maintain (or gain) muscle and assist with fat loss.

You don't have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to weightloss. Go find someone elses "wheel" and make it work for you. There's no new tricks or secret hiding from you.

Do the basics and do them consistently.
