I'm still not at one with this whole calorie thing.. I think I might need to invest in a little handbook or something that makes sense...

Was just looking at the diet again...I get about 1800 calories- not sure how that fits into the 4/3/2/1 pyramid.  Could end up eating way more than 4 serves of fruit / veg or something else to get to 1800 calories- unless I drop my calorie intake substantially.

there is no such thing as 45cals for a slice of bread.....the least calories per slice would be 95calories....i am going to use R & Rgluten free wholegrain bread...it is 95cals per slice, 3.5g fibre, and .8g fat....the best bread on the market...can be bought at your supermarket or health food shop....

Often i find the budget bread has a lot less calories than fancy name brands, as low as 50kcal per slice. I normally just get wholemeal unless they dont have it in which case i get white.

    47kg lost and counting.

Sara Lee makes bread that is 45cal per slice.  They have it in Whole Wheat and Whole Grain.  I think it's the best low-cal bread.  I believe Nutrigrain has a 40 cal slice bread, but I've not tried it.  I'm not sure if these are available where you are.
