    I felt the need to tell you all that hubby had a go at the ticker-thingy and even HE couldn't get it to upload/download...whichever way it's suppoosed to load!!!!!So, it's this silly computer, Not just my lack of technological literacy or wizardry..............I feel better now I've got that off my chest .......        Alison 

    Hey, and look at my avatar (that's a picture in case you didn't know!!!) I did that ALL BY MYSELF!!! I copied a picture off an ebay thing I bought and put it in my pictures and then here..and it worked!!! How's that ??????? I'm so excited!!!Big Smile [:D]  Alison

    Taking of avatars - why doesn't my avatar move? It's an animated gif and boy does it kick - but not hereSad [:(].

    That's funny, cause that's what I thought when I saw it(that I thought it was meant to move!) but, sorry, as I am the original computer illiterate, I have no idea how to fix it!! Good luck!  Alison

    Mine is supposed to move too but I think it might have something to do with the size of the files!

    Now we have the Tags section in the Text Editor, please make sure you don't insert your Ticker code there. It must go in your Signature which can be found in your user Profile

    i just tried to change the details for my ticker thing and it prompted me to set a password. i set one but my ticker has now changed to a blue line and a star instead of the road and car i had before. its no big deal, it still works fine but if anyone knows how to change it back...

    fixed my ticker thing. i'd explain how so as to help anyone else who has the same problem in the future but i have no idea how i did it Tongue Tied

    No, it's the pic next to your name. You have to have the pic on your computer and you upload it through your Profile by clicking on Browse.

    Ok I have been seaching for ages how to add an Avatar how do I upload anything when I can't even find my profile or even anything that I can click to browse....lol. Please help!

    On the top right hand side of the screen you'll see this: Signed in as Ray Kelly | Sign out | Help | Inbox (but instead of 'Ray Kelly' you'll see your own username)

    Click on your username and you're in to your profile

    Hmmm funny that. Sounds weird I know but I don't have any of that. Maybe I'm not signed in properly?? Can you help? (more) LOL

    I know some people had trouble seeing it before. Look at the bottom of your screen and see if you have to scroll across. If you're signed in you will have it there (and you must be to be making posts).
