    TGIF & the weekend

    FRIDAY 2nd MARCH

    Thank god it was Friday! I was over the Wednesday and the day after hangover that I didn't have, only the fact that all I wanted was fatty food due to the alcohol consumption from the night before!

    Food was alot better so here's what I had:

    • Seafood rice noodle soup (with extra chilli!)
    • BBQ popcorn
    • Fruit and nut mix
    • Apple
    • Water
    • Coke zero x 2
    • potato, mushroom, sausage, risotto (customer made us dinner)

    SATURDAY 3rd MARCH

    Holy cow! How god damn HOT was today!!!!

    Today I didn't feel like eating much due to the weather and didn't feel like exersicing either (just quietly.....lol)

    • Subway 6inch Roast chicken (i think it was) Only lettuce, tomato and onion with southwest sauce - my fav sauce!
    • About 6 biscuits with some dip, smoked salmon and cheese n chives
    • lots of water with some cordial apple n rasp
    • had chinese for dinner, steamed dim sims, salt n pepper prawns, chicken and boiled rice.

    SUNDAY 4th MARCH

    Today is my sis's birthday so we went out for brunch to Pancakes on the rocks.

    Have action ball tonight!

    nothing better than a nice 6inch sub with some adro eyecandy if you eat in too lol

    AussieJane- Thanks! Actually did have a great time, my shooting was on fire!!!! (bout time just quietly!) We won 49-19!! And the southwest sauce is kinda spicy, well not too spicy just has a tang to it. Only thing it's prob the only bad thing I have on my rolls! Big Smile

    Ladywolf- Pancake place was terrible, but have been there before and food was great so 1 for 1 I guess.....lol. Just won't order what I had yesterday ever again!! Have tried honey mustard, it is nice but still go back to my fave southwest!! Big Smile

    Manic Monday & Terrible Tuesday!!!

    Gee what a terrible day I had yesterday!! And today's not much better!!

    To make a long story short this is my day yesterday :-

    Everything went wrong! Mondays is the day I look after my 2 y.o nephew, I went to westfields to get my sis her bday pressent well it didn't happen because I locked the keys with my bag that had my wallet and phone, my nephews nappy's basically EVERYTHING locked in the car. To make matters worse, it wasn't my car! Worst feeling ever!!

    In the end I finally got NRMA out and they got the keys out for me. Which was just over 2 hours later!

    And Today, I don't know whats wrong, maybe woke up on the wrong side or something but I am just in a foul mood all day ( I did do over 10 hours at work) Don't want to do anything!!! I know I need to do something but am being stubborn! And I had Hot chips today and am pissed off with myself!

    Hopefully will wake up tomorrow a better day, going swimming and AM going to go to the gym! Hopefully back on track and yes I know I've said it before but hopefully this time it's a go ahead and no more mucking myself around!!!

    The only good thing about yesterday was that I went to the pool, did walking/running laps and gosh I feel sore today, but thats OK coz I know it worked!

    Heres to a better day and a new start tomorrow!

    Aww you poor thing Natz!

    I've locked the keys in the house a few times and had to bust in through the window to get them!

    My Fiance' locked the keys at his cousins wake about a month ago and i had to get his mum to drive us 50km home to get the spares in the house....

    So i have come to the conclusion that all keys are evil and our out to get me....

    I do hope your day today is a better one!

    (Gosh driving 50 k's to get keys - now thats a bad day!)

    Speaking of days,,, I Had a much better day today! Hence the title today, much better than the last 2 thats for sure!!

     I went swimming this morning, did my 20 laps of freestlye. Then walked for 20 laps in the smaller pool, which is prob 10 laps. Then had a spa! :-) Actually my arms are aching - using the triceps & not used to it......lol

    Played indoor netball tonight.

    Food was good:

    • Corn fritters with spicy salsa
    • red apple
    • sultana and oat loaf
    • biscuits with cheese
    • penne pesto and olive pasta
    • scotch fillet with baby pototes and vegies

    My computer is stuffed!

    I Haven't been able to get online as my laptop has a virus, I have to take it in to be fixed! So I am at my sisters place looking after my nephew again, I look after him every Monday and lucky they have a computer! So here is an update on what's been happening!

    Thurday:

    Went swimming did 20 freestyle laps and 10 walking/running laps!

    Can't remember what I ate during the day but did have a few beers after work with a few friends and I did stop at 5 this time!!!! LOL

    Oh and yeah we had pizza for dinner! 4got about that!Smile

    Friday:

    Ate well all day but didn't do any exercise worked 12pm til 12am

    Saturday: 

    Went to the gym for over an hour, really pushed myself! Did 20mins running machine, level 10 Hill programe and 40mins treadmill, warmed up for 5mins then did 1min running then walked for either 2 or 3 mins then back to 1min running. Then cooled down for 10mins.

    Sunday:

    Did nothing all day just relaxed and caught up on some needed sleep! Watched a DVD!

    Hey there Nat,

    I have been reading your journal - just not replying (at work usually like now - oopsy). Anyway, pity about the locking of the car! Bummer! Hey, Pancakes at the Rocks, yum, pancakes, we tried to go late last year but they closed for renovations - prob just as well!.  So you live in Syd hey, where abouts? Im in Kingsford. 

    IF possible, can you send me the receipe of how you cook your corn fritters and the penne pesto - sounds delicious.

    Anyway, seems like your getting back on track.  Just remember to stay on track and be consistent (gee this sounds familiar, think im trying to drum it into my head here too).  Keep up the cardio and weights.

    BTW; out of curioursity - what was your Start Weight, and your current weight?

    Sorry haven't been able to reply to you sooner as I can't get on my lap top so I have to wait til I'm at my sisters house on Mondays.

    I live in Belfield near Strathfield. Also the recipes for corn fritters and penne pesto are actually lite n easy and are really yum!!!!

    Yeah I seem to be on track but it's going very very slow kinda disheartening (sp?)

    Also my starting weight for this year.....lol was 118 that was right after xmas. Went really well at start then got injured and now back on track again. So weighed in this morning at 113. So basically I lost 5kg's put 3kg back on and have lost 3kg again....lol.  I'm hoping to again lose as much as I did in 2005 and more. Back then I lost 20kgs So I have done it before I can do it again. Just got to be patient and keep my head up and keep on going to achieve my goals!!!

    Last week

    Until I get my lap top fixed I have to wait til Mondays to update my journal Sad

    So...

    • Tuesday  I  swam did 20 freestyle laps and 20 walking laps (half pool walking)
    • Wednesday I swam and did 20 freestyle laps and 20 walking laps (half pool walking) Played Indoor netball. Went to gym for 1 hour did 20 cross trainer level 10 hill programe. Did 40 mins in total on treadmill - 5mins warm up ran for 1 min then walked for 2 or 3 mins repeated this until it was 5 mins left for cool down.
    • Friday I swam did 20 laps freestyle and 20 walking laps (which works out to be only 1/2)
    • Saturday went to the gym did 20 mins cross trainer and 40 mins treadmill (did the same as wednesday)
    • Sunday  Went to gym only for 45 mins Did 15 mins level 10 hill programe on x trainer. Did 25 mins on treadmill running on the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th and 15th minute. Warmed up for 2 mins on another treadmill first but it didn't read heart rate so swapped machines. On the 18th min I cooled down for 5 mins.

    And I have been really good ALL week! Only had take out once this week and that was on Thursday.

    Oh and  last  Monday  Swam and did 20 laps and 20 walking laps also
