    hiya...

i must say i've found my sleep getting erratic again, which is annoying the heck outta me! it's great you can manage your own time. are you a coffee drinker? perhaps you can try something like meditation or gentle swimming...

    Hey great stuff!

Consistency is the key. When all is a said and done, as long as you move alot each day it doesn't really matter what you do

feeling very bleh about the whoel fitness thing today.

yesterday i was a model fitnessee.   today its 10 past 5pm and i havent eaten yet. i know i know thats pretty awful. Im just a bit tired of cooking healthy stuff. i hate cooking with a passion and i have over exerted myself in the kitchen. my husband offered to cook but hmm lets see, he uses a bucket of oil to cook everything in and never uses herbs and spices to flavour, just stock and salt. argh whinge whinge.

i realize i could have a sandwich or something but i just see food as the enemy right now because im feeling so bleh.i look at people eating and it makes me sick. whats wrong with me ? lol wow, im having a pity party. back to the garden for me. thats where all the problems of the universe are solved........

Finished the day off with a healthy meal and tonnes of water and have spent the last 5 hours re-arranging and tidying my shed(thats a workout and a half)

not feeling bleh anymore, just putting it down to a bleh day, everyone has them.  walked around like a maniac in bunnings to get everything i needed before it shut. tomorrow i am going for a walk in the botanical garden that is a 5 minute drive from me. how lucky am i:)

    Re: Melonhead

    YEAH BABY!!

all weekend i have consumed less that 1200 cals a day

yesterday i walked around the botanic garden with my dog. i took on a hill that i couldnt take on 6 months ago because of knee pain. no pain, just tonnes of panting. i was breathing so hard i was hoping with all my might no one would jog past me coz i was only walking lol. so thats a new goal for me. im gonna take on that hill and im going to be able to walk up it without raising a sweat(its a pretty steep hill but not enough to justify my panting)

so im excited about that. dont know if i will be jogging up it like rocky though with eye of the tiger playing in the background but it will be a similar feeling.

    walked everywhere today

feet are covered in blisters from walking so much

i can feel the dtrength in my legs returning too. whats that about? after my knee injury and extreme weight gain, my legs felt week, easily tired. now, they just walk and keep walking. i may be a bit puffed in my breathing but my legs dont feel weak any more.

    this is all good

    Re: Melonhead

calf stretches are doing the trick, who would have thought something so simple could have such a result. with the injury to my feet easing up, i am now realizing as i walk more that the injury to my knees are easing up. i walked up my killer hill yesterday. my husband came with and he smokes and he wasnt panting and he weighs more than me slightly. it was distressing because i was still panting as if i had jogged up. so he is banned from coming to my killer hill until i can beat it.

food intake daily is still less than 1200 cals. i havent taken to listing it here because that would be double handling for me. ive made a spreadsheet to calculate my intakes and outs of cals etc but it doesnt copy to here so ill just blurt the total cal intake here without all the info.

exercise today was 30 long minutes getting a cardio work out trying to start my wipper snipper at 7.30am. im ready to hoist it over the fence into the creek. grumble grumble.by 8.00 i placed the wipper snipper down , walked inside and decided to look on ebay for a new better behaved whipper snipper. i might end up with some one elses evil cast off tho and i can think of better ways to get a cardio wor out. so im nice and calm now

let the day begin its 9 am, so much to do, bbl

I wish i had replied about 4 posts ago on your bleh day!! But it seems you have gotten yourself over it now.. if you have another one of those days i will make an effort to help you through it..

Good on you for tackling that hill.. i was the same the other day walking up this steep path and trying not to puff and pant as a man and his two dogs jogged on by lol

     * LadyWolf curses at the whipper snipper right along with you.. i too had a bad time with one the other day grrrr!

hmmm botanical gardens.. i will have to find them in Brisbane and trick the husband into coming along with me on sunday..

Dontcha hate that!   My hubby has a drink most nights, smokes cigars on and off ( gives up one week and uses the chewy, so we all go through a week of hell, then next week he'll be back on a pkt of Wee Williams a day!  I've given up getting involved in it all - way too frustrating)  and does next to no exercise.  If he has the day off when I run the lake he'll come with me - and power walk beside me .......grrrrrrrrr..... He reckons that it is impossible for anyone to call what I do running.   One day I'm going to do a marathon (or a half marathon at least) just to show him that I might be slow, but I can keep on keep'n on.

    Re: Melonhead

i beat the wipper snipper into submission with my angry stare and a few choice words as i had yet another cardio work out on it. so the garden was neat for my mothers visit "phew" we all know how mothers make us go into overdrive to get things tidy when they visit. bleh

i picked up a nearly a hundred peaches that were rotting and picked 50 off the tree  for my self and mum. yay, finally a crop

i mowed and raked and washed and cleaned and hung out loads and loads of washing and now i am exhausted. i am starving. low fat tuna casserole tonite. cant beat it, a meal for 6 for under 10 bucks and its practically no work 5 mins prep 20 mins cooking

    cals under 1200

exercise- cals out no idea, too exhausted to work it out
