I had a rude awakening this morning - hubby had overslept and was late for work. And oh yeah he's starting at 5am at the moment!!!!!!![:'(] It was about 530 when he bolted upright with a loud oh f*%$#$#$#$##$. I could not get back to sleep, and went for a nanna nap not long ago but still feel crappy.
Went to the dietician last week - they advised me to give optislim or Tony Ferguson a go. Muy Endocrinologist thought it would be ok, so I have been on the shakes, just at dinner time, for about 2 weeks. I tried the optifast choc shakes first and they taste really blah, but I am enjoying the Optislim espresso. I have been doing reasonably good on them. I still have snacked after dinner on occasions and had one bad binge day, but so far so good. It feels weird when others sit down to dinner and i have a shake, but I'm getting over it.
My exercise regime is another thing. I was doing well for so long, now I just don't have the motivation. I am considering joining a different gym, and am doing some research at the mo, but it's daunting to try something new. I'll just have to get over that.
Am working on the weekend - bloody early morning shifts, the only thing making it good is one of my clients goals for this year was to go on a limo ride and I get to go with her!!!! I have never been in a limo so very exciting!!! There will be three of my clients going so I am going to have a pretty cruisy shift - literally - and sip sparkling water (unfortunately not allowed to drink alcohol on duty or it would be some champers darling) and enjoy the view.
Have started my second casual job - had induction at the house, and doing another induction shift this afternoon to learn routines, pickups from day services and meet the clients. Am a little nervous about working with high behavioural clients again, but should make life interesting.
