The Biggest Loser 2 - Week 7 Review

Well, this has got to be the biggest, most emotional show of The Biggest Loser yet! The biggest of either series!

It all started when both teams were brought together and told that the Red and the Blue teams would be dispersed. Their would now be 4 teams of 2 people formed. One group with two men and three groups with one man and one woman. When the weigh in comes around, their scores would be added (weighed as a team). The duo with the lowest percentage would be up for elimination. The other teams would then vote on which person would go, with each team getting one vote.

They were also told that one of them would get to choose the teams.

A couple of the guys (Matt, Mark) were quite immature about it, with Mark saying that he had to deal with ********* at work all the time and didn't like the idea of having one on his team (Fool!!!).

The Biggest Loser Temptation

They are all taken into a room and there is 8 covered platters on the table. They are told that each one either had a calorie filled treat under it, or a card saying that they could choose the teams.

Just about everyone went for it! All except Doc (Jeff) and Shannon.

Each of the others slowly lifted the cover of their chosen platter..........Pete wins!

He is given 2 hours to choose. He gets everyone together and gets them to let him know who they would most like to be teamed up with. He then goes for a walk.

Pete, being the nice guy that he is, puts the others before himself and makes sure that the team dynamics suit each and every individual. I'm sure if was any of the others they would have chosen the best partner for themselves and just threw together the rest but not Pete.

The teams are:

Shannon and Matt

Andrea and Mark

Suzy and Seth

Doc and Pete

Every one of them is surprised at the choice (no one got the person they asked for) but they all get on quite well and start working towards winning!

Both trainers decide to work with every team!

The Biggest Loser Challenge

They are taken to the beach and their is a bucket for each team with a rope going through a pulley up above them. One team member must hang on to the rope and keep the bucket off the ground. Each of the other team members must take a smaller bucket, run down to the surf, fill it with water, then put it into any one of their competitiors buckets. The last team left with their bucket of the ground wins.

Seth and Suzy wins!

Their reward?

They both get a trip for two to Hawaii for 5 nights for surfing lessons! (plus they have immunity from elimination this week!)

The Weigh In

Suzy       182

Seth        233

Pete        318

Jeff          294

Andrea    185

Mark        273

Shannon  212

Matt         262

Doc and Pete are up for elimination! This blew everyone away. The two nicest people on the show and one of them would have to go. Doc tells Pete that he's achieved more than he could have dreamed and was quite happy to go home. Not because he wants to leave, just that he think Pete deserves to stay. What a bloke! He then goes and tells each of the teams to vote him off. I have never seen so much crying in one show!

They all come in to the room and place their votes and even thought Doc told them to vote him off......Pete is voted off!

I don't think I've ever seen a friendlier, positive group of people after an elimination but the biggest shock was yet to come.

They show Pete now and you can't believe your eyes. He came to the show at 401lbs and now he weighs 264!. He looks absolutely awesome. Well done Pete!
